Mid Week Update

Hello friends.

We have had a very busy few days in Arizona.  Our major project for the week has been painting the inside of White Mountain Apache Indian Church.  The members of the church love the new paint job and thanked us with giving testimonies on Tuesday night letting us know how much they appreciate our hard work in their church.  We have visited the prison on the reservation as well as the drug and alcohol treatment center (women only).  Today we picked up about 30 Apache children and took them to a playground and spent almost two hours playing baseball, basketball, and face painting.  On Thursday, we will finish our church painting project and spend another few hours playing with Apache children.  We are all tired, miss our families, but feel blessed to spend time with the Apache.

We Made It!

Hello friends.  We made it to Arizona and are looking forward to what God has in store for us the rest of the week.  On Sunday we helped the White Mountain Apache Indian Church with their service.  It was a blessed time to be with them as one Apache girl was baptised in a creek about 15 miles from the church.  This creek was a mountain stream made up of run off from snow high in the mountains. 

Today, we will visit the jail and start doing some work on the inside of the church.

19 Days until we leave!  Pray that God will bless and encourage all team members who stay at the ranch this summer.

22 Days

22 Days until we leave for Arizona. Pray that God and his character will be made clear to those seeking him.

23 Days

We have 23 days before we leave for Arizona.  Pray that God would work in the lives of teenage girls and young women and help them to remain true to themselves.

26 Days

26 days until we leave for Arizona.  I missed yesterday so today, I will post two prayers today.  Pray that God would touch the hearts of fathers.  We also pray for the health of all Apache, young and old.

28 Days

28 days and counting until we leave for the beautiful mountains and plateaus of the White Mountains.  Pray that God would break the chains of alcohol and drugs among those who are in bondage.

29 Days

20 days until we leave.  Pray that God will bless the children and youth of WMAIR with hope and love.

30 Day Count down Has Begun!

30 days and counting until we leave for Show Low and WMAIR, Arizona.  30 day prayer calendar - pray that God will open the eyes and hearts of all those we meet.

Arizona here we come!

God is amazing!  We just booked our flight to Apache land.  As soon as we get an official confirmation, we will post the actual flight times and other pertinent information.  We have a great team and I can't wait to visit our Apache brothers and sisters and our friends at White Mountain Apache Christian Church!

Planning Meeting

We will have a planning meeting right after church service on Sunday, March 7th.  This will be a brief meeting and should not last more than 30 minutes.

One Church Many Tribes

Hello Friends. I have just finished reading a great book titled "One Church Many Tribes; Following Jesus The Way God Made You." If you have a heart for First Nation or Native American people, it is an eye opening, disturbing, yet refreshing and exciting book to read. Author and Lakota Richard Twiss challenges our Western thinking with Biblically sound advice. The book has given me much to think about as we prepare to head to the Apache's land.

Updated Date For Informational Meeting

Informational Meeting
